Pile is a small but busy suburb of Dubrovnik (see map), situated just in front of Pile Gate, well known Dubrovnik's landmark at the western side of the Old town and home of a popular bus station.. The area is an important transport hub for the whole city and well known for frequent traffic jams, so it can be pretty busy around here especially in summer months.
